Friendly Alien

Long-time QuarkXPress users never tire of seeing the little Martian “Easter egg” appear to delete boxes. Fortunately, InDesign has its own alien lifeform, but it’s better hidden.
1. Open the Print dialog box and click the Save Preset button.
2. Give your preset the name “Friendly Alien” and click OK.
3. Click on the preview window in the lower-left corner of the Print dialog box. Yes, this works on both Mac and Windows.
