BBCi Hidden Test Card

To see the BBC hidden test card and other broadcast information being outputted via the Freeview signal in the UK, do the following:
1: Select the BBCi channel (currently 105). This channel is known as the 'BBC Red Button' channel
2. When the general display info appears, press Yellow within 30 secs
3. Now go to another channel - perhaps using the remove channel up/down select
4. Now go back to the BBCi channel 105
5. When the general display info appears, press Green within 30 seconds
6. Now you'll have the BBCi Freeview transmission 'Status Page
This page gives location info about your Freeview region along with broadcast time and other such details.
Now press GREEN for the famous Test Card F image (Carole Hersee is the 8y girl shown) and BLUE for the info page credits.
To exit you have few options that seem dependent on the box model. Use the back button - or the exit button - or change to different chanel with the number keys - or turn the box off/on.
Notes:
This event should work on any Free view enabled box or modern TV
The test card image can sometimes take a while to come through.
This procedure is harmless to your box.
