Load desk.cpl (usually in your c:\windows\system32 folder) in a resource editor (Resource Hacker is a good free one) and open the dialog category. Open resource 151 and you will see an old dialog from Windows 95 (1-bit patterns, tile/center radio buttons). You cannot use it though.
And if you try to open with right click > "open with control panel" it lauch only the settings for desktop options. I suppose the problem is only in your prg "Resource hacker". Have a nice day ;) -- Italian Geek, Sep 27 2007 11:04PM
