During any Codec conversation in the "Plant" part of the game, if you press L1 or L2, then you can here what the character is actually thinking. This is really cool. What they're thinking isn't always what you may expect, and sometimes, its pretty funny.
I know this works on the US version, because i've tried it. I haven't ever tried it on any other version, so I wouldn't know if it works or not.
