All the main characters except for bart is actually named and positioned after Matt Groenings own family. Matt's dad's name is actually Homer, his mum's name is Marge and his little sisters are really named Lisa and Maggie so if you want to know the names of Matt Groenings family all you have to do is to replace "Bart" with "Matt" and the family last name with "Groening".
