Dan - Jan 3 2009 8:41PM Well, anyways, the point wasn't that it has 42 characters. It's a reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. In the book they build a supercomputer called Deep Thought and ask it for the answer to the Great Question of Life, the Universe, and everything and it says 42. So the rest of the book is kinda about finding the Great Question to the answer 42

Sean - Jul 19 2008 9:49PM Charlie - hate to rain on your parade, but it adds up to 43 characters...

charlie koncher - Aug 4 2007 3:44PM if you count all the the letters including the apostrophe and the spaces it adds up to 42 i thought this was quita a good egg

FaNt0m - Jan 25 2007 6:43PM 42 comes from the hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy.
