Inside information from industries involved in the creation of vinyl layering and chemical manufacturing tells EggHeaven of a breakthrough in the creation of vinyl paint technologies that can reduce sound pressure on both sides of a layer thus reducing noise interference from both external and inside sources.
Specifics are around a 30-50% sound reduction for materials painted with this layering thus making it suitable for rooms with outside noise interference or for preventing internal sounds leaking outside the painted container.
Some people concerned with disturbing others when using gadgets such as the USB Drum Kit we featured recently or indeed other such sound-based instruments would welcome this news as would those of us living within relatively noisy environments.
