This X-mini iHome Capsule Speaker system solves this problem and gives a rich deep bass sound whilst remaining relatively small in size. It's rechargeable via USB, so you can take it anywhere you might need a big boost of sound. The unit pulls open to reveal a resonance chamber, increasing the bass response even higher. Rechargeable lasting around 8 hours. Looks hi-tec too!
