MSN Messenger - Blank Personal Message

Suggested by: Sunny 10 Apr 2007 Print version

This is quite easy. You can have a blank personal message/screen name:

1. Click on your personal message to edit it.
2. Hold down ALT and type 0160 on the numeric keypad.
3. Let go of ALT.
4. You're done - you now have a blank personal message/screen name!

Doesn't work. Version 2009 Frank - Mar 8 2012 12:50AM

if you make a new folder then hold down alt then type 0160. the folders name is left blank also if you right click on the folder then click properties then click customize then change icon then scroll right and click on a blank area then click ok then click apply ok....then you will see your folder has no name and no icon....good for hiding stuff from kids prying eyes lol! by the way it is also good to move the folder to a different location (i put mine in windows folder and rar it )...because if you move the mouse over it it becomes visible. not good on the desktop ok! markthemod - Apr 11 2009 11:17AM

alt + 0160 is not a blank field. it's the same like pressing the space bar on your keyboard :) dave - Mar 23 2008 6:21AM
