1: To start off, hit [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Shift}, a little gray box will appear in the upper-left hand corner. Type in "move_objects on" without the quotes and press enter.
2: Have your sim walk to the mailbox to retrieve the bills. When he/she tries to head for the table, have him/her stop and they will drop the bills. They can do something else, it doesn't matter.
3: Click on the bill and, as if you were deleting furniture or something, delete it. Vualaj, no more bills!
If your game happens to be a patched version (if they have them yet) it may not work on your game.
